Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 August 2026
HiHey! is a free, invite-only link-in-bio tool. We keep this policy short because we collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not add third-party tracking pixels to your page.
What we store
- Your account: the username you were invited with, an internal account ID and a hashed password. Passwords are never stored in readable form.
- Your page: the name, bio, links, text, images and other blocks you add, plus your chosen page address. When you publish, that content becomes a public page — treat everything on it as public.
- Basic page stats: counts of views and link clicks, kept in aggregate so you can see what works. We do not build advertising profiles of your visitors.
- Messages you send us: the name, email and message from our contact and report forms, so we can reply and hand out invites.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your data.
- We do not show ads on your page or ours.
- We do not require a card, a plan or a subscription. HiHey! is free.
Cookies and local storage
We use a login session cookie/token so you stay signed in, and your browser's local storage to keep your unpublished edits on your own device. Both are strictly needed to run the editor — there are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies to opt in or out of.
Third parties
Our hosting and database provider stores the data above on our behalf. Anything you embed yourself — a Spotify player, a YouTube video, a link to another platform — is served by that platform under its own privacy policy once a visitor loads or clicks it.
Your choices
- Unpublish anytime: the publish dialog in the editor takes your public page offline immediately.
- Edit or delete content: change or remove any block from the editor.
- Delete your account: ask us and we will remove your account, your page and your stats.
